When There Was Me and You

This has nothing to do with the High School Musical, nor does it has anything to do with any of my old flames (note the plural citation, hah!)

An old friend from school (primary school, man!) managed to contact me via an online community. That led to a mini reunion on the same night. I never attended a get together with any of my classmates from then. How long has it been? 1991 to 2007... 16 years!!! The 1st person to reach the place was Prasad, my bestfriend who lived near my old house. We exchanged name cards and stories. He was the one who told me about the demolished LPK quarters, in Jln Kastam, since I used to live there before my Dad passed away. I was really shocked when he told me that the area was flattened.

Nine Months Later ... hehehe

Our new addition to the family, Hazim. My wife gave birth to our second prince yesterday. Hasnul complained severe back pains and she couldn't sleep the day before. She had it since 3am, then at dawn when she just couldn't bear the pain anymore; we went to see her gynae. Dr Kamal made some checks and he recommended a C section. According to him, it was the case of cephalopelvic disproportion, which may only lead to C section later on if we opt to wait for normal delivery. We scheduled for the C section that very afternoon, and the rest is history.

MCKK 9296 10th Year Reunion (in Cherating!)

While all the other batches held their 10th Year Anniversary on Koleq ground, our batch decided to break the tradition this year. It's not that we were bored of Koleq, but we just thought that this reunion shouldn't just be about us boys - we also include our spouse/family too! Koleq is not quite a place for such activities. It's a once in a lifetime thingy, and we'd hope that we'll remember this day for the rest of our lives. And that we did.

78 members of 9296 made their way to Cherating that weekend. That's quite a remarkable turn out, comparing to other 10th Year batch reunions. I'll save the details for later.

MCOBA Futsal 2005

The futsal tourney was organized by a group of guys from class of '97. My batch sent two teams, 96A and 96B. As usual I didn't offer my futsal skills to both teams. If I did, I will only jeopardize any chances of winning the game. The game started at 8AM, which explains why I missed all the preliminary group matches. By the time I arrived, it was lunch break.

Team 96A didn't make it to the next round. The other team did. Though it was brief, I was glad to spend the afternoon with the guys. I only watch 1 match, 96B against 97D, our juniors.

Our opponents scored the first goal on the first whistle, right from the center court. They caught Moque off guard, and took the chance. :-O haha!

Kudos to organizers! Good job guys!

Hanif's first dip in the pool

I just bought a baby floater for Hanif last Thursday. I figured it's time for his Mummy to teach him to swim. Ngah and kids slept over my place during the weekends. Her kids love the swimming pool. :-D who doesn't? We stormed the pool early on Saturday morning. Everyone was excited.

Here are a couple of shots from the pool. Cut me some slack, I'm just a beginner. ;-)
